I've noticed that if you use HelpStudio's 'Insert Hyperlink' dialogue (either by dragging and dropping the topic into the glossary or clicking the hyperlink button), then it creates a bogus UID. However, if write out the link in HTML mode, it works fine. I've just tried it on a CHM...
