    Double Text

    Hello,

I have just started using the Document X and have stumbled upon an interesting thing. I am trying to document some source code(VB) and everywhere I write some text (example in the Description area) I get everything doubled when I build the project. It does not matter if it is chm or web. The text is doubled, separated by new line.

Does anybody have an idea what I am doing wrong?

    Thanx

    Hello,

If you are documenting VB.NET 2005 or later we would recommend you document from the assembly. If you do need to document from source then you would need to disable the "Integrate comments from a compiler generated XML Documentation file" option to avoid any doubling up.

This option can be found in the Comment Extraction page of the DXP.

I am documenting Visual Basic source code. I see the option you mentioned but the whole section is disabled, so I cannot disable it.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello,

This isn't something we have come accross with VB source code. Would you be able to send in your Project and Source Code so we can investigate? If so please send to support@innovasys.com.

I apologize for any inconvenience this problem has caused you.
