    Error building pdf booklet

    Hello

     I am using HelpStudio 3.5.1.19 build 3.00.0200

     I had no problem in generating pdf with Abrobat 8, until I upgraded (in the wake of a Adobe CS3 installation) to Acrobat 9.

    Producing pdfs now fails, with error the error below

    "A Runtime Error has occurend. Do you wish to Debug?

    Line: 358
    Error: Unsecified error"

    Is this linked to my change of Acrobat? I don't think I can really easily downgrade (if Arobat is indeed the culprit) - I really need to find a solution ASAP since my published pdf needs an urgent update.

    Hello,

    Can you specify exactly the Adobe version you have installed? Could you also send us through a screenshot of the error dialog you see to support@innovasys.com.

    At this point the more information we have the better equipped we are to diagnose any issue's.

    Sure - it is Adobe Acrobat 9 pro - version 9.0.0

    Hello,

    I'm afraid I am unable to reproduce this here, I have installed Adobe 9 and built our sample project without issue. I have also built a massive test project we have that contains 761 pages and this also has built and can be viewed without issue. This leads me to believe it may be some other factor causing this issue.

    Can you try a clean install please:

    1.  Un-install HelpStudio
    2.  Reboot your machine
    3.  Remove the innovasys directory.
        XP = program files\innovasys.
        Vista = program data\innovasys.
    4.  Install HelpStudio.

    If this doesn't resolve your issue could you please send in a copy of your project into support@innovasys.com so we can investigate further.
