I have posted an issue with you last week that I haven't got any response to so I will try to post the problem here instead.

Every time I open either the VBA IDE och Visual Studio 2005 or 2008, the Document! X  welcome screen appears.

It doesn't mather if I check or uncheck the checkbox.
This problem is very annoying. How do I remove it?

I have several colleagues with the same problem.

There is a registry key that should have been set automatically perhaps somehow this hasn't been set and you may have to set manually.

The value is:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Innovasys\DocumentX5\NoVBSplash="True"

I use Document! X 2008 so I placed this under the DX2008 key instead.

This only solved the problem partially.
In the VBA IDE the Welcome screen is now gone.

But the problem remains in Visual Studio 2005 and 2008. But now the welcome screen is blank, but it stills shows the "Welcome to Document! X" tab.

The value name for Visual Studio is NoVSNETSplash. Please let me know if this doesn't resolve the problem.

None of these registry values has resolved any of my issues.

Both the VBA IDE and Visual Studio is still there.

My setup is:
64-bit Windows Vista Business SP1
VS2005 and VS2008 both with the most recent service packs.

Document! X 2008.1.0.1

The issue is now resolved.

There is a bug in the settings for the welcome page.

The workaround.
Go in to the registry and set
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Innovasys\DocumentX5\NoWelcomePage = True

Document! X will now save your settings for VBA IDE and VS.
